To encourage people to think and act positively, 'Mount Franklin' launched the Positive Pink Ribbon Pilates Program during Pink Ribbon month in 2008. The goal was to show people how they could improve their lives by creating a positive outlook for their future. Over eight days, 'Mount Franklin' took Doreen Puglisis, founder of the Program, across Australia. The response was overwhelming.

Continuing on the path of spreading positivity and creating awareness for breast cancer research, in 2008 'Mount Franklin' launched the Positive Pink Ribbon Pilates Program.
Developed by Doreen Puglisis to help breast cancer survivors, the Program is geared towards empowering and strengthening women by teaching them how to think and act positively.
As a breast cancer survivor (Doreen was diagnosed with breast cancer two years after launching the Program), she has a heightened understanding of how physical therapy and staying positive can make a difference to the quality of life for cancer survivors.
To help us launch the Program, we brought Doreen out from New York and took her on an eight-day road trip across the nation. Hundreds of men and women took part in the free sessions, which ran in nine cities.
To support the launch and create awareness, we also ran an outdoor advertising campaign. You can see the elements of this campaign by clicking on the gallery tab.
"This is the third year of support for the NBCF from 'Mount Franklin' and the Positive Pink Ribbon Pilates Program is an exciting development in helping us reach our goal of improving lives of those impacted by breast cancer." Sue Murray, CEO, National Breast Cancer Foundation.
